Excellent cafe. Close to where we live but too busy and closed by the time I finish work. The summer chicken salad is so good and the coffee.. a bit higher at $4.25 but worth it. Nice owners. Will return again

Nice local cafe to catch up with friends. Loved their iced strawberry matcha and you can customize the kind of milk you want.

I was doubtful about the 5-star rating, but after a delightful coffee break, I can confidently say it deserves every star. My only critique would be that the slice of lemon pound cake could have been bigger! However, both the coffee and cake were reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other cold drinks and baked goods next time.

I had a London fog size medium and a P&B cookie. Im a regular London fog drinker and I really appreciated the one I ordered here. It’s not too sugary, tea flavor comes out really nicely, and milk is smooth. It motivated me to write this review as coffee shops who goes a step further to make sure you have a great drink deserves it. Peanut butter (vegan) cookie is great, it’s light but big and the flavor comes through clearly. You don’t feel like you ate a stone after. Nice decor and athmosphere, it has a couch and a few tables.

I’ve been curious about this café for a while and was eager to try it out. Since I happened to be in the area today, I decided to stop by and check it out. Although I had already had my coffee earlier this morning, I wanted to see if they offered any healthier pastries worth trying. The glass display case was filled with an impressive variety of breakfast sandwiches, all of which looked fresh and appetizing. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the multigrain bread I was hoping for. The other pastries and desserts also looked appealing and well-made. I asked the staff about some ingredients, and while she wasn’t entirely certain about a few details, her friendly smiles and polite demeanor made up for it. I ended up ordering a vegan peanut butter cookie and settled into a cozy corner with a large, comfortable sofa. I don’t usually eat desserts, but this cookie was a pleasant surprise. The outer layer was baked to perfection—delightfully crunchy. While it was a touch too sweet for my personal preference, it was still much more balanced than most desserts I’ve tried. I took my time savoring the cookie, enjoying each bite as the café’s soft, soothing music played in the background. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a wonderful place to relax. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying their coffee next time.

HIGHLY Recommend Cafe Anecdote + Bakehouse! The Food, Atmosphere, Staff, Service was just Phenomenal! The Quality of Coffee, to baked goods was just so delicious! They apparently bake all their pastries in house! the Scone was so moist, and decadent! I could not help myself by go overboard on my lunch! A quick grab and go, but was the true highlight of my day. Thank you guys! Your food and drinks are so delicious! I will let all my friends in the area know! UPDATE: Been coming here once every couple of days since they opened and the baked goods, coffee (matcha Latte, and Latte is my favourite) is SO Delicious! The sandwiches are very elegant, cannot compare to regular sandwich shops.. this is how I treat myself almost on a Daily basis! Also, the Scones are SOOO Good! A Must try!

Based on the cafe latte I had, I recommend this place. It has an inviting atmosphere, though the fridges hum a bit too loudly. The customer service is great and they have free wifi. They also offer a loyalty card.
